DA - under US Soccer
Fysa - fspl this is a top league under the Florida youth soccer association
Under US Club
ECNL only a Jfc, FESA, FKK, OCYS, TBU, Miramar in Florida are in this league, it is the top league under us club
NPL - league under ECNL, second teams from the Florida clubs in ecnl plus plus second teams from full DA clubs, these are the Florida NPL
ACYS Spirit United (boys)
Chargers SC
Clay County SC (boys)
Florida Elite Soccer Academy
Florida Kraze Krush
GPS Florida West
GPS Orlando
IMG Academy
Jacksonville Armada FC Youth Academy
Kendall SC (boys)
Miamar United Elite (Jr. boys)
Orlando City Youth Soccer (Jr. boys/girls)
Parkland (boys)
Pinecrest Premier
Space Coast United
Sunrise Soccer (girls)
Tampa Bay United
Wellington SC
West Florida Flames
Weston FC (girls)
FLORIDA PREMIER LEAGUE
Has in some cases 2nd 3rd or 4 th teams from big clubs plus First teams from other clubs
Then under these are leagues like USA for Tampa area, Cdi also that area, north Florida youth soccer, greater central Florida league, south Florida league etc
Still teams in these could be the same as teams in the aforementioned leagues. Lots of teams are in multiple leagues
In reality it should be, but you will find excellent teams in all the leagues under ecnl that can beat each other. Da teams don’t play anyone other than da, but ecnl teams will if they lose to a none ecnl team they probably need to take a good look at themselves
1 da
2 ecnl
3 FSPL
4 NPL
5 fpl
Then regional leagues

I could be wrong, but I think FYSA is the only association in Florida that can say that, Youth or Professional.
As time progresses the FSPL Premier Division is going to show the value of having a promotion/relegation system in place.
Flawed as it is, at least FYSA is trying to create a pathway for the best teams to play in the best division. And to create an incentive for clubs to make sure they are working to get the best coaching in place to create the best teams.
Would be great for US Soccer if the DA and the MLS would try some sort of promotion/relegation system too.

Unfortunately some of the larger clubs have already bailed on the FYSA for US Club. This split is only hurting youth soccer.

Too many leagues. How about 2 or 3 leagues and that's it. local league w/ promo and relegations. Finish top 4 play in your fspl league. top players from these leagues creat 4 different da's and play in regional level competition slotted on 1 weekend a month. this way friends are still playing together locally and development is still happening. If you look at it there is between 12 and 14 quality teams locally in each region.

Too Many clubs in too small a geographical area. If they all did what was best for the kids, we'd have less clubs, better teams and could then compete with other states.
Greed? Ego?

Leagues and tournaments are only money makers for a few and pander to mommy and daddy. The system is broken and needs to be blown up.

Before you tell me the competition is watered down give me a break. competition is watered down because no one wants to play each other in fear of losing players. Too many kids playing in unsanctioned leagues w/ no money, coaches kids good enough to play at high level leagues but don't due to dad being there coach. we need to go with the old saying less is more, as in less leagues is more competition and more development.
