The SYS program is very good and has very good teams at U12 and below. And then you have the split at the older ages when kids have to make that decision.
Please stop. Just seriously please stop about SYS and Shrewsbury.

Will start at the earliest a week from Friday. What division are you asking about?

        Division 1 would be:

        IN

        Wachusett
        Nashoba
        Grafton
        Marlboro
        Algonquin
        North Middlesex
Doherty (won the Inter High League)

        POTENTIAL

Westboro needs 1 point in their last 4 games
Shepherd Hill needs 3 points in their last 3 games (Westboro and Shepherd Hill play tonight)
GD needs to get 8 points in their last 5 games to get in

Westboro will most likely make it.

Shepherd Hill has Westboro, Auburn, Shrewsbury left. They will need to get a point out of either Westboro or Auburn and beat Shrewsbury. Their win against Algonquin is looming huge right now.

GD has Wachusett, Nashoba, Dracut, Leominster, Chelmsford left. They have to scrape out 2 points against Wachusett and Nashoba at a minimum.

GD beat Chelmsford 1-0. However, they are essentially out. I'm sure they will beat Dracut and Leominster, but they have absolutely zero chance of winning or drawing against either Wachusett or Nashoba.

          Westboro will get in.

The poster raises a fair point about why a town with a huge population and a sports culture has fallen so far from its state championship days. Why ask him/her to stop. Shrewsbury needs to wake up and ask themselves why their program hasn't won a game. Sometimes finding the root cause is the only way to guarantee a solution.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that having four different head coaches in seven years isn't usually a recipe for success.

Sorry but Shrewsbury has NEVER won a state title.

Shepherd Hill is out after their loss last night. 8 teams make it:

                          Westboro
