TBU only allows legacy players on their top teams. No newbies. Even if the legacy players no longer have the ability to keep up with the better players.

      Good luck.

Been at a few clubs in Florida. What TBU does better than any other youth club in Florida is address things. If there is a thing that needs attention - they jump on it. Facilities, leagues, coaches, crazy parents, etc. If something needs a course adjustment - they make it.

Not always convenient, not always comfortable, but they make a course adjustment and almost always everyone comes out the other end better. Think about that. Compare that to your club where you've been complaining about something for 3 years and nothing has happened.

Great deflection! You completely ignored the fact that the legacy player issue is a real big probleml over at TBU

Glad to hear that you feel that they address issues quickly. Maybe that is true with your kids team but that is not true across the board for them. As far as other clubs almost all of them are as poorly run as TBU and there are varying outcomes in the situations that you described. I don’t think it’s any better or worse at any club including yours

You say legacy, we say loyalty. Many players have been at TBU since U7. It is very hard to break onto an ECNL team when you have been playing USA or CDL for the past 6-8 years. I know that is a bitter pill for some parents to swallow when their kid has been a big fish in a small pond. For arguements sake though, one of the top ecnl teams in the club took 5 new players this season.

Loyalty is a problem for player development. They are a lot of players at TBU, both boys and girls who are complacent because they've been at TBU for years, so their place is guaranteed. Players need to know that if you don't perform, your spot can be taken. Regardless of the division the play in.

It is ridiculous to make these statements. TBU doesn't do much that would be considered anything different than any other club as far as development, and their ECNL teams really aren't as competitive as they'd like you to believe (there are a few here and there)

Then you're also trying to make the silly argument that they should keep a kid on their top team because they were at TBU since U7 over a kid that plays in a league that you look down your nose at but the kids is clearly better and should be on the team over a legacy player.

Typical snob TBU BS... you've probably had hundreds of players that should have received spots on your top teams that went elsewhere and want no part of your club because of this stupidity, but the koolaid is strong and folks try to justify this stupidity all the time...

                      It's really funny!

Yes - Would encourage everyone that is trying to build up the TBU ECNL teams as "the best" to actually look at the results!

I don't see much success here based on the standings SMH:

TBU will never come out and say why because it will make them look bad. Great coach they lost, thumbs up to him for why he is not there.

Just like they won’t come clean on why PG was let go, why they continue to allow ER to coach there...it’s a pattern of poor decisions people.
