The OW staff is so quick to comment on here and it’ pathetic.

The Fairfield-Colgate game was being referenced. A CFC United kid scored the game winner for Colgate.....”just sayin”

Fairfield probably an easier sell though. Just pulled ahead of Providence for #1 ranking in Regional Universities. QU has 13 or 14 on the same list and Hamden sucks
That sounds like a bit of an excuse to me. FU is almost fully funded with this great academic rating and they stink? QU campus blows Fairfield’s away by the way although agreed that Fairfield is a nicer town than Hamden.

One complaint I hear from QU students is it empties out on the weekends, more so than the others. FU and even SHU also have easier access to the beach, train and NYC. But I know kids who are plenty happy at all three. Depends on the kids, their majors, intangibles like "fit". All solid regional schools in an area with a high density of great schools from MA to D.C.

Just leaving the QU vs. FU women’s game. Fairfield received a clinic for 90 minutes. No contest.

There's a pretty clear cut laddering system with college coaching careers He's not going to step into a HC position at a top program, but can at a lower level one. Nor is a highly qualified AC from a Duke or Stanford going to step down a notch to be a HC at SHU. They can do better than that in terms of program quality or division prestige.

Notable results from this past week

Quinnipiac lose to St Peters at home 0-1 (the same St Peters who lost 0-6 to Sacred Heart)

Sacred Heart beat LIU 2-1 (LIU who also beat St Peters 5-2)

St. Peter's probably had prom when they played SHU or something.

Siena beat FU 1-0 in OT. FU 0-2-2 in the MAAC. St Peters is in front of them (as are pretty much everyone else). Some winnable games ahead, but playoffs looking iffy.

Well, thats a big turn around from the same fixture last year isnt it

                            2017, QU embarrases StPeters 11-0
2018, St Peters embarrases QU 1-0

Don't follow either one, but wth happened? Did QU drop that much or did St. Peters bring in one hell of a recruiting class?!

One of those fluky results. QU dominated but didn’t finish and SP finished the chance they had. To be fair, they’ve also beaten Canisius this year.
