It means they get the biggest kids around and kick the ball up field. They don’t develop their players to play possession European style. They do not have the coaching for such a scheme. More of a Venezuelan/ Central American style. There only priority is winning.

I am a Chargers parent for 2005 boys and I must admit the Weston team did try to play possession European style. Best team we have played so far this season. We look forward to a rematch in a few weeks.

You must be joking, right? How can one person be so misguided and delusional? Past U14 regular club soccer is like rec soccer by comparison. So much faster, better touch and more physical at the DA than regular club. Sounds like your kid did not make the DA and now you are an angry man.

Now, the only thing left for you, is to cling on to the hope that your boy can make it into a strong community college and continue playing Central American soccer.
