    Wrong. I have it on good authority that Pep saw our posts here and decided to start Aguero, just to put the game away quickly.

          Yup. Looks like my prediction of Wigan by 1 is coming true. And, red was the correct card.

              Delph came in studs up. Ref pulled out yellow and started to book him, and then changed it to red. Azzhat move by the ref.

                Studs = red

                  Not always, as it turns out. Won the ball. And, in this case, the ref decided to pull yellow and start the booking for a half minute or so and then pulled red. What changed?

                    Won the ball is a tired argument. If you win the ball but commit a foul. It’s still a foul

                    It looked like ref got some help from AR. That’s the way it’s supposed to work

                      Great. Just great.

                      Aguero just threw a punch at a fan. Probably result in a ban. :/

                      *** are fans doing on the pitch anyway? Hooligans. FA did a bang-up job here. Great refereeing, great fan control, great for the sport.

                        Oh, I don't disagree that it couldn't have been a red. I just say the 4th official watching TV replays shouldn't be making the call, as the ref already had. Google it. Much worse done against City this season with only yellow or NO cards shown.

                        In the end, doesn't matter. City had buckets of chances and didn't finish. City lost this one regardless of the sending off.

                          But that is precisely why the brought the VAR into the EPL.

                            VAR wouldn't solve this. Some refs have called this red. Some yellow. Some no cards at all. Review the recent tackles Pep has been complaining about.
