He will beg them to come. But it really doesn't matter. The only point of this silly' 'little' DA is to save the MLS DA Timbers man hours evaluating local pre-teens who might one day have a cup of coffee at their Big DA, then get dumped back into the HS & OYSA cesspool.
It's a sick vicious cycle, masked under labels and false promises of 'Development', 'Identification' and 'MLS HomeGrown'. With fools like this clown (the neighborhood club coach) selling a 'United' slogan for the moment. That has absolutely no substance or value.
Or, alternately, that neighborhood coach (or any other) could decide to build a training environment with higher standards than what's currently on offer, recruit the best kids into it, and start giving kids a platform to catch up to kids from other states.
There are more than a few parents and kids who would be down with that.

That would be a bold move for BSC and NEU since so many kids leave the club by u13 due to the mediocre training and standards. Is United bringing on new coaches to implememt these”higher standards”? Or just the same old guys?

Those coaches are outperforming such Stalwarts as Eastside and Westside in the USDA . . . but keep talking like its 2008.
Why don't you tell us what club you are from and we can compare how you are doing today and its trajectory?

Let’s start by you telling us how many of your DA players are homegrown? Over half your 04 roster are players from other clubs that showed up for a DA patch last year and who are already shopping out other tryouts for May due to developmental stagnation. Your top five on the 05 roster also came from outside clubs this year. How are your 03 and 02 OYSA teams performing?

When the Timbers DA lucks the major clubs top players starting at 06 & older, but takes no club players from (NEU or BSC) you spin away with gusto, leaning on the results of a leftover watered down OYSA & OYSA/Little DA, in you effort to tout your program's perceived relevancy. Quite the crooked angle, but understood that's all you got.
Not only is this narrative hysterical it's speaks to the void place and delusion that guides your club's perception of reality, it's succinctly timeless & priceless. Thanks for the laugh.

This rant had enough typos that I am honestly unable to figure out what you are saying.

Wanting to be follow the blueprint of other Oregon clubs who have achieved National and Regional levels, is a great goal. Not original, but understandable and quantifiable..
But unfortunately without the requisite quality of players & coaches it instantly becomes very nice pipe dream.
Is the poster of the last 2 of 3 posts OK? I'm worried that they might be having a stroke or in the midst of a bender.
Please get your thoughts together so we can understand your points.
