Maybe because only the 01s and 02s are going? No 03s (but Rush has an 03 team going) or 00s (who, really, recruiting is done for most by now anyway as they're primarily seniors).

Chief, you are probably new to this but the Jefferson Cup is one of the most highly selective events in the country especially the Showcase (older groups).

It looks like Yankee 03s are ranked #700 in Region 1 and were winless in their league and managed to score just two goals all season. They would struggle to get accepted into the top bracket in a decent travel tournament.

I'm no Yankee fan but you are way out of line complaining about this one, Yankee 2003s have no business in the Jeff Cup. Looks a very poor team

Yes, teams that are better and capable of being accepted into the tournament. This Yankee team might be the worst NPL team at any age in the Northeast


There's zero chance that a team with this track record could ever get accepted to or be competitive in the Jefferson Cup.
