The organization gets audited or reviewed every year. If there is an issue, they will find it.

All your league reg fee, state cup reg fee, rtc, odp & timbers camp monies flow to Pergerine. Don't need an audit or review to figure that out. Plus they don't get audited, OYSA does.

That's why these clowns (OYSA) are in trouble financially they are the only USYS authority that can sanction a usys league, a usys state cup & a usys odp activity, and they gave that sanctioning to Peregrine-exclusively.

What's so funny is the 2 former administrators at OYSA are now on Payroll at Peregrine after all the business changed hands from OYSA to Peregrine.

It's would be absolutely hysterical if it weren't true.

This all happened while you were busy trying to book seats to Idaho and Utah for elite soccer games.

      Asleep at the wheel.

What is the point of this swipe? There would be no Peregrine/OYSA deal without Portland-area Alliance clubs tripping over themselves to help the Timbers. . . . those alliance clubs own this **** show.

Would be nice if they could help to clean it up, but if they want to sit on the sideline whiles other do the work that's fine; just quit trying to pass the buck as to how we got here.

Investigation IS in the works. Where did monies go? New prez will clean up the ***show and bring accountability.

Add the OPL leftovers to the list of contributors to this insanity, they were paying off the Timbers $40K a year for 'timbers branding of the opl,' happily with parents league fee registraton revenues prior to their demise (opl). They never asked you if this was kosher, they just did it.

Then a small pool of girls teams (FC LOSC & THUSC) try and run away to tundras of Idaho and Utah and claim they are not complicit in this activity, just poor innocent locals forced to spend thousands on hopeless travel avoiding the Peregrine mess.

Got it. Your hands are clean.

            You filthy two-faced lying pigs.

You idiots blew up the OYSA and started this mess with creation of the OPL that divided as state and you opened the door for GW to take it all back under Peregrine at OYSA.

Love to have a memory like yours. pick and choose what you want to remember.

This isn't a swipe, it's a slap to your face...

The new prez is presiding over nothing.

Merritt and GW have already cleaned up and have banked the monies.
By virtue of contracts with OYSA.

Good luck undoing that mr. accountability!

Feel better? Angry much? Sorry to burst your bubble of righteous indignation, but the vast majority of us are from TA clubs. We didn't do anything. My kid was a ULittle when these decisions were playing out. And while we are on the subject of wildly misplaced anger, remind me exactly how the clubs doing ECNL are hurting you personally? Which fees went up to subsidize these players? What is your personal cost aside from hurt feelings because your kid got left behind?

You need to work on that rage dude.

Why did OYSA hand league admin over to the Timbers? Why are Timbers profiting off youth soccer? The fees keep going up too.

OYSA had to give the Timbers whatever they wanted so that the Timbers clubs would pull their teams out of OPL and back into OYSA. How's that working out for y'all?

Working out fantastically just like having our new Russian leader. This is so great. You'll see.

The now branded 'Timbers' clubs are only a fraction of the 60k membership, there is no alliance working behind the scenes, you believe in fairytales as well.

OYSA handed over their only revenue streams without any hesitation years ago..then when Peregrine wanted more years of this gold rush OYSA said sure.

All of the OPL members were back with OYSA when the extension was granted for a 10 year deal with Peregrine...

Every club can thank the OYSA for their decision

10 years? So basically, it's not OYSA, it's TYSA.

It's true that the Timbers clubs are only a fraction of the membership, and an increasingly smaller fraction at that, as they continue to lose their top athletes to the better clubs that are tainted by the stink of Timbers extortion and corruption.

Yes, you are correct the Westside Timbers lose the most players both boys & girls to the mighty DA & GDA programs of the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns than all other clubs combined. Having the top talent will give rise to an Exodus to the next level. Which does suck for the Westside Timbers at a certain level for sure.

As for Capital, Bend, Eugene, Medford & Washington Timbers clubs they might lose their top athletes to another sport but those areas don't have any competing relevant or 'better' soccer club within their region.

As for the Eastside Timbers they are pretty well geographically locked like those remote clubs above, so the kids can't be lost to better clubs to the east like Zig-Zag soccer club on the base of Mt.Hood they aren't going north to the Troutdale elite clubs or heading south to the Molalla or Estacada training centers or even heading west to the Gladstone or Milwuaukie rec clubs or THELO.

Westside loses players because their club sucks. No other reason. Same goes for Eastside.
