Doubtful. FCB doesn't have but 2 good teams in the entire organization. All FCB parents know it and are probably embarrassed by it. My guess is they want to fly under the radar, and stay out of as many TS posts as possible. Stars on the other hand has a lot at stake and a lot of reasons to assail NEFC.

Happy for the kids, but frustrating that not a single game across the age groups was interesting.

'Totally'....you sound like a valley girl.
First, there are too many national championships now for boys and girls that, in an attempt to consolidate talent, the talent pool and competition has become more diluted. That said, any tournament win is better than losing no matter how many angles you want to argue it from, so, congratulations to those teams that did well.

Second, the parents of girls playing youth soccer are on a completely higher level of pathetic-ness. Your own intensity and pressure that you put on your daughters are outrageous.

Third, The Bolts took over the scorpions at a time when the Bolts boys are struggling to build. For too many years (and still) the Bolts blew off their non academy teams to the point of becoming insignificant. They struggled to compete in the DAP and could not keep up with the MAPLE and now NEP leagues. NEFC, GPS, Valeo (at younger ages), ? Stars have all caught up and surpassed the Bolts boys teams. Although they can still claim to have a DAP, it too has become less significant.

Fourth....in conjunction with #3, the Scorpions are still led by FM which has been and will continue to be the reason for their downfall. He has run and continues to run the club as though the Scorpions were still aligned with the Breakers, and were still the only real girls option in town. On the one hand, joining the Bolts is consistent as both clubs like to pad the BOD and let their kids and friends get on to the top teams. However, the Bolts have started to recognize that that behavior is not the best. FM is far behind. He should 'gracefully' step down.

Another NEFC domination thread turns into a complaint about others as soon as someone points out the so-called nationals were very weak.

Lol. Does calling their accomplishment weak make you somehow feel better for your club once again coming up short? NEFC has accumulated more hardware than anyone else in this state has ever accumulated so they get to talk as much trash as they care to because winning is the primary objective in sports and they have backed up their words with actions. Sux to suck!!

You don't speak for every NEFC family when you brag about trash talking.

Lol. You honestly think you feigned humility is going to stop the clowns here from ripping into you, your kid, or NEFC if they falter. Enjoy it while you can because it always ends and when it does people are cruel. Just ask the Stars.

Stars have none so yes. You guys have won nothing. Zero. Zilch. But yet you brag about how good you are? Weak championship is still what? That's right a championship. Have you stars won anything? A championship? A national championship of any sort? Ill answer it for you.... NO. See your bragging gets old here to real soccer people. You guys get beat every year head to head against NEFC for the last 4 years. Then you come here and say we are ECNL you are NPL. That was right and they still beat you. See the argument is weak. NEFC teams presently are betting than stars and they show it by beating you consistently. The national championships are just proof that they are the best in the country in their league. When you win your national championship then run your mouth. You are an average ECNL team who will be exposed next year and will be second in your own watered down division.

It's not feigned humility. It's a recognition that the competition wasn't great in CO. And this year it made me wonder about the Nationals hype, as evidenced by the tag line. NPL nationals used to be strong, so you can't fault people for pointing out that the league has been diluted.

Best players on the boys side, including those trained by NEFC, play DAP. Fact. Let's be honest please. "Nationals" for the leftovers, nothing more.

Who cares? I mean that sincerely, by the way.

Besides the players and parents of a specific team, no one, and I mean no one gives a crap about "the club", any club.

You club employees need your own forum for your monthly circle jerk.

Not for nothing but it is a weak tournament. Waste of time to go down and play these teams that wouldn't be top 5 in Mass. Hopefully better competition is ahead for us. Nefc parent here.

Better competition definitely is ahead for the NEFC Elite teams. They are good teams now, and so one would expect them to continue to do well as the Breakers in ECNL next season. That said, undefeated season-long records and runs deep into the National Finals at several age groups will not come as easily in ECNL, but that is exactly what this poster is hoping to find, and who could blame him/her?

I would think the breakers are going to get credit for everything now and NEFC will easemtialy be the B team in each age group or when GDAP comes they will be the C team.
The NEFC NPL teams next year will still contend for the New England NPL league championship and state cups, so they still have a shot at moving on to NPL Nationals.
