Doubtful. FCB doesn't have but 2 good teams in the entire organization. All FCB parents know it and are probably embarrassed by it. My guess is they want to fly under the radar, and stay out of as many TS posts as possible. Stars on the other hand has a lot at stake and a lot of reasons to assail NEFC.
'Totally'....you sound like a valley girl.
First, there are too many national championships now for boys and girls that, in an attempt to consolidate talent, the talent pool and competition has become more diluted. That said, any tournament win is better than losing no matter how many angles you want to argue it from, so, congratulations to those teams that did well.
Second, the parents of girls playing youth soccer are on a completely higher level of pathetic-ness. Your own intensity and pressure that you put on your daughters are outrageous.
Third, The Bolts took over the scorpions at a time when the Bolts boys are struggling to build. For too many years (and still) the Bolts blew off their non academy teams to the point of becoming insignificant. They struggled to compete in the DAP and could not keep up with the MAPLE and now NEP leagues. NEFC, GPS, Valeo (at younger ages), ? Stars have all caught up and surpassed the Bolts boys teams. Although they can still claim to have a DAP, it too has become less significant.
Fourth....in conjunction with #3, the Scorpions are still led by FM which has been and will continue to be the reason for their downfall. He has run and continues to run the club as though the Scorpions were still aligned with the Breakers, and were still the only real girls option in town. On the one hand, joining the Bolts is consistent as both clubs like to pad the BOD and let their kids and friends get on to the top teams. However, the Bolts have started to recognize that that behavior is not the best. FM is far behind. He should 'gracefully' step down.
