NEFC Dominates Nationals AGAIN

One of our closest friends are a Stars family. We are an NEFC family. The only ridiculous rivalry between these clubs are on the soccer field and here on TS. Off the field in the real world we are all friends, and have mutual respect for our kids abilities and soccer clubs.

Gotta love these fictions. NEFC family indeed. Every real NEFC family has experienced first hand the panic you Stars parents give off when you think Jason might see you talking to an NEFC parents. We just laugh at your paranoia.

This post is complete BS. It is so obviously a non NEFC person trying to stir the pot. NEFC and Stars both have good teams with good players. Between the age change and ECNL, next year will be very different. Most parents/players want real competition. They do not relish blowouts.

Congrats to them
10-0 games at a "national" tournament is more reflective on the competition than the winner
They will be good in the ECNL but they won't have anymore of those games

Last year for you stars famies to brag. Enjoy it because you will be exposed next year as what you are. A mediocre club. You tried to keep NEFC out for years a s now you will be eating crow. This page will be quiet next year. Stars has won nothing in the last 10 years. NOTHING. NEFC has been beating on your stars teams for the last 4 years in every tournament they play. Only thing you can brag about next year Stars is that your in the ECNL. The LAX parents are right through your bs. As do all soccer parents. Most overrated team in New England.

Well, for starters, we're not Stars family. And while there is plenty of truth to the fact that NEFC will compete well (and often beat) Stars and FCB other ECNL teams in NE, they will not have the lop-sided success they have seen for the last few years...... and they know it. Once they compete on a level playing field, we'll see how many "national *" titles they bring home. TS pages will revel in reminding the pompous NEFC braggards just how much life will change for their top teams.

totally a FC Boston parent stirring the pot. While the NEFC parents are undoubtedly proud of their kids, they all know that scores of 10-0 and 9-1 could have been achieved a helluva lot closer to home, not in a "national championship." Happy for the kids, but frustrating that not a single game across the age groups was interesting.

Ok, to clarify, I agree the very original post was made by a troll trying to stir the pot, and definitely not an NEFC parent.

However, I am the NEFC parent who posted about having a Stars families as good friends, and if that seems unbelievable to anyone here, then you are all taking your youth soccer too seriously.

Doubtful. FCB doesn't have but 2 good teams in the entire organization. All FCB parents know it and are probably embarrassed by it. My guess is they want to fly under the radar, and stay out of as many TS posts as possible. Stars on the other hand has a lot at stake and a lot of reasons to assail NEFC.
