Originally posted by Unregistered View PostWA recruits like crazy for most sports. It's not an academic powerhouse like other prep schools. Instead, Worcester attracts potential D1 athletes and offers considerable aid to those kids based on athletic ability. WA also has close ties to NEFC and Stars and recruits those clubs kids or places their international recruits on NEFC and Stars teams when possible. WA coaches do a great job of marketing their players to college programs, especially on the boys side.

you could start by going to the prep school open house at NEFC. Winter I believe. If you play for NEFC that is. Otherwise, start with the school open houses in the fall. Or come watch a game. For any prep school that is..

If you are open to other prep schools contact 3-4 prep school coaches and have them come watch your D play. If she is a good player they may start recruiting her and give you some idea of what kind of financial aid their school might offer. It's always a good idea to have more than 1 school interested.

If you haven't noticed from your Ivy Tower, the masses are getting pretty upset with the elite.
