Its a bit sad they are asking boys beginning at 11 years old (2006) to give up all other sports and specialize only in Soccer. I wonder how many will be completely burned out by High School?

they can't apply for the DA. There are club requirements which they are not even close.
It would be like me going to England and starting a Baseball Club. Heck, I was an AllStar when I was 13 that means I can run a baseball club in England.

It will actually be a good thing for clubs like ADF to stick around so kids that don't want DA or make DA have an option somewhere where they can still train and play at a higher level with others of like ability.

And 50 percent guaranteed playing time every week per rostered player...so each player will play 35 minutes a week in a game.
