ECNL is awful in Oregon. FC Portland and CU are laughing stocks.

Oregon has one regular in the USMNT pool, several boys who are regulars in the youth NT pools. While the percentage is a small number, it's bigger than zero.

Only Oregonian ever to play in World Cup or Olympics is a girl born out of Hillsboro rec boys leagues; no DA, No US Club league just the outer edge of the Urban growth boundary.

Today's results (so far) from 60 acres:

CU14 loses 3-0, is eliminated.
CU15 loses 2-0, still wins their group and advances to quarterfinals tomorrow.
CU16 final group game starts 2:00 local time. CU16 is presently in third place (tied with the second place team in points, but -3 in goal differential). For CU to advance, they must win, and either a) the other group-stage game ends in a tie; or b) the 2nd place team must win and the -3 goal differential made up.

That's the beauty of playing in a US Club activity, you have no beginning or end. Just payment is needed to continue the charade. It's awesome.
