So the tournament this weekend is feeling the effects of the break up. Games were moved from land o lakes to pinellas. Couple teams did not like the late field change and forfeited.

The fields are 20 minutes apart. No excuse to forfeit.

Pasco County is not allowing WFF to use the fields since they are no longer affiliated with a Pasco based club. WFF should have recognized that would happen months ago. Once again, this is how poorly WFF is run. Good riddance!

Was this know after you finished your crying fit for not getting the ED job, MP? Mr I quit and taking my fields and going home.

WFF is dying a slow death because of some of your paid BOD but worry not the WFF club is not totally dead yet. I'm sure the LFC merger will work out just fine for you folks in Brandon but unfortunately EL will be the red headed step child once again. Good luck with that. GTBFC on the other hand will be holding tryouts and conducting business as usual.

The Greater Tampa Bay Football Club - Board of Directors have unanimously made a decision to return GTBFC to a full fledged recreational soccer club starting with our NEW - Summer Soccer Program.
At the end of the competitive season this month the club will no longer offer any competitive programs.
GTBFC's focus will strictly be on expanding our current recreational fall, winter and spring programs, while offering other new and exciting recreational developmental programs and camps. These programs will continue to be offered at our beautiful Land O' Lakes Rec Complex Fields located at 3032 Collier Parkway.
The Board of Directors extends a huge "thank you" to all technical staff, managers, and other competitive volunteers for their loyalty and outstanding jobs they have done over the years and wishes everyone continued success.

What a shame !! The so called leaders of this club should MR , DV & Board should be embarrassed by what they've done to this club in a very short amount of time. None of them should have anymore chances in this area with youth soccer !! WHAT A FAILURE

What a freaking joke! Rec only? This is a huge slap in the face for the community. The only reason the BOD voted on this is cuz by pulling away from WFF, GTBFC lost it's FYSA affiliation, and knows that US Club is a waste in Florida, leaving no other option. Wow, I can't believe that bruised egos will kill this once great club!
