How much would goal line technology cost. 3 referees looking at it and not one of them questioned it?

Did they have a pre-match conference about how they'd handle PK's. Did they go over scenarios? What about before the shoot-out. All questions OSAA officiating staff should ask. But they don't. They won't. OSAA is not interested in criticism and has no mechanism to accept responsibility, improve or gets things right. Unless you know their boss....Kate Brown...
OSAA does not report to Kate Brown. OSAA is non-profit organization - not a government entity.

So they are basically like a cartel with a monopoly and no accountability.

That's why kids continue to get screwed. Recall last year Yamhill Carlton got screwed out of Football playoffs because of OSAA mistakes.

Poorly struck PK. Strike the ball correctly and we wouldn’t be talking about this

Not a monopoly. Lot's of high school age activities outside of OSAA. Lacrosse isn't run through OSAA (ask Lake O girls what they think of officials). Not sure if there are other sports that run through schools but outside OSAA.

Is there another soccer, football or basketball league for High Schools to participate and play in? What is the alternate association for this school to play that school and have a state championship?

Yeah, I get it that Lacrosse isn't an OSSAA sport (yet)....

CYO has an active high school basketball program that the Catholic schools participate in - but its rec. A lot of JV2/Frosh schedules are put together between ADs at the different schools as not every school fields 3,4, or 5th team. I don't think there is anything barring a school from putting a schedule together and calling themselves State Champions.

Or OSAA could be more conscientiousness.

It did. And every single person in the stadium knew it - except the two people who mattered.

What difference does it make?? State playoffs are to identify the best team in the state. If you’re not playing 6A, what does winning mean... you’re the best of the rest?

But the 6A champion also has an asterisk.

In the end it doesn't matter.

By that very faulty logic, there's no reason to compete at the D2, D3, NAIA, or JC level. This may come as a surprise to you, but it feels just as good to win a championship at D2 as it does D1. And it feels just as good to win a championship at 5A or 4A as it does at 6A. You don't get a monopoly on happiness just because you happen to attend a bigger school.

And converesely, it feels just as bad when a 5A team is robbed and has a championship stolen from them after outplaying a team for 110 minutes as it would if that happened with a 6A team.

Everyone knows CU has the best team in the state.
