Is this group in fact losing the GPS connection? Not sure that Bayern is severing their licensing deal with GPS; one of the rumors out there is that GPS is severing the relationship with GPS-Oregon but not Hillsboro.
If the coaching is so good, why are the records so horrible (outside of the 03 girls)?
OYSA has the following for every club:
http://oysa.affinitysoccer.com/tour/...87FD&clubname=
GPS Oregon OYSA Records (both genders) - 14 wins, 30 losses, 92 GFs, 207 GAs
03 Girls - 2 wins, 0 losses
All of their other girls teams - 3 wins, 12 losses
This is a group that lives and dies by their "rankings", at least when it comes to the 03 girls; but you are going to be hard pressed to find any club in Oregon with a worse record so far this fall. Given the amount of marketing and recruiting they do, that is kind of remarkable.

It seems like the main reason why this thread started is because someone wants to create an opportunity to vent about MJ.

Otherwise think you are right - MJ has won many friends at other clubs in his short-time here in Oregon.

The wins are coming from ridiculously poor teams that also think they are elite when in all reality they are flying 5 hours and paying 1k per trip to play teams worse then teams 15 minutes away.

ECNL = solid NW competition
OYSA = local club team league that have lost top players to ECNL or DA
PSPL = Washington glorified recreational league
