I think GDA won’t affect women negatively because the best players aren’t in GDA.

You don't get out much do you? MLS, NWSL and the nation's elite clubs have all spoken and the DA is the premier destination for youth development. Can't change it now, this long running US Soccer train has no end in sight. Sorry you are clueless.
They've spoken alright. And they've clearly said that the GDA is a wasteland. That's why ALL the top clubs in the country have abandoned the GDA.

This is true. GDA may have some impact on HS soccer as a few of the GDA girls would likely make their HS JV team eventually but other than that, not much impact.

The DA started from scratch for both boys & girls. They have never looked back and with no shortage of applicants wishing to be a possible DA program. Sorry, you didn’t know the facts.

Look no further than your local metro area club’s leadership signing up to be provisional, little DA Clubs, with mini ‘DA’ teams for all younger ages.

If Oregon’s also ran clubs are desperate just to be associated with anything labeled DA, it follows this brand and it’s standing as a big DA is something a local club could only dream of being part of, maybe someday. Until keep trying, harder.

Gda is not very good in Oregon and losing steam across the country.

Gda is about $4,000.00 per year in Oregon. Too bad the quality is what it is.

You want the Sad truth the Thorns DA is still miles ahead of any of our local club offerings. No argument on that fact.

Our club scene is a train wreck.

Not really a train wreck. CU competes against all the top clubs in USA pretty well and CU is local. I believe they have a team in Semi finals this week for ECNL championship. ECNL is widely regarded as top shelf league in USA with clubs like Slammers and PDA choosing this route over GDA.

That's $4K before travel. And with all the clubs pulling out of GDA, there is a TON of travel. Probably $15-20K per year now.

Thornz GDA isn't even miles ahead of PYSA rec. In fact, they could play in PYSA and no one would notice.

But no need to put them down. The kids can still have fun no matter what their choice is.

CU is not part of the DA so how is possible to compete with top clubs? CU is a local club playing other clubs 'b' teams for the most part due to the other clubs 'a' teams are in the DA.

I believe the current standard of the US Club tourney is more akin to an OYSA 'President's Cup' quality congrats for advancing in this level of a tourney, but sounds like a real waste of money to travel that far for nothing.

US CLub once had a foothold on some top clubs in their leagues, that changed last year, CU & FC P couldn't even tie the bad teams in that old league. After the rapture to the DA now the are in the final 4 now...nice the league has changed.

Burlingame can be travel partners with thorns.

So you mentioned two out of thirty top clubs in the country going back to ecnl, who else?

Perhaps you should do some research. Your beloved GDA is full of clubs that wouldn't succeed in OYSA div 2. Any half-decent club either never joined GDA or joined and left almost as fast once they found out the reality of how corrupt, mismanaged, and mis-guided the whole thing is.

But, of course, the libtards love things like US Soccer GDA and USYS because they believe in big government telling everyone what to do because libtards can't think for themselves. US Club, on the other hand, doesn't pretend to know all the answers (like the US Soccer honks think they do) and lets the clubs teach the game and let the strong survive. With the Libtard GDA, only the weak survive.
