FSA's only hope at retaining their top talent at the u13 - 15 ECNL ages is to announce coaching assignments. Maybe some will stay for the right coach. In not announcing coaches, they will only put the nail in their own coffin. Older kids will probably stay because it is too much work to leave. Parents of youngers are fed up. Coaching is lazy! Why stay?

Any smart family ages U13-U15 will head to CFC United tryouts. GDA is a joke, FSA is struggling big time

That complex will be filled to capacity come tryout time and suckers with kids young and old kids will happily write checks. Every year people complain from mid fall to the spring about the organization and they end up back right there come tryouts and in the fall. It's one of the more stable organizations in spite of the mediocre soccer and coaching (in some cases).

The ECNL teams had no new talent show up last year. Just the current team plus the hopeful NPLs. Last year coaching was better. This year, people are truly frustrated. Wait and see!!!

Where was the coaching better? The coaches are still the same. Did you miss something?

Mediocrity eventually catches up with you. They've run out of excuses - first it was the S+ player and coach remnants, then it was needing FSA talent to work into the ECNL system. Granted it's still early in the season but this weekend was terrible for FSA while CFC had a good weekend against the same clubs FSA may have actually gone backwards

FSA's problem is that they lack a good DOC. this is on the boys' side, and apparently on the girls' as well. If the DOC was better at talent identification and better at withstanding parental pressure they could be a world class club. As it is I'd rate them a B.

Having said that, coaches usually stay with the same team for 2 years, so barring something unusual you can plan on that. However, things come up and you can never be 100% certain of a particular coach being assigned to a particular team. This is true at all clubs. This is not because FSA (or the other clubs) are pulling a fast one, it is because coaches tell them at the last minute they are leaving/moving/whatever and then management might have to shift coaches around to make things work.

we are at FSA. We won't be back if same coach stays with team. What a waste of a year

                          Grade inflation. It's a rampant issue ;)

OW posted coaches a few weeks back for older aged teams but since has taken it down.
