Looking at the UPDX roster http://neun.ussoccerda.com/sam/teams...p?team=7535256, it appears one of the Slytherins is there, but not Malfoy. Mostly it appears to be last year's BSC team. The one player who usually played with the 04s last year is now rostered here (DA players can no longer play up for non-DA teams, and vice versa), who will help fortify UPDX's defense and right-side attack, even with the loss of two centerbacks to FC and Westside.

Interestingly enough, all the 06s who played on FC's 05 team last year and who followed MC over, are now all playing on age at UPDX. Not a single FC 05 from last year is on UPDX's 05 team. Weak!

If MP is only about making money then they are doing it right. They have no interest in developing anything but income streams. Only cost is DA, but they cover that with our entry fees.

It’s a brilliant business model.

All they had to do was buy OYSA when the embezzlers has the checkbook.

Exactly the problem- youth academy is not supposed to be a money generator (directly anyway) it should be considered a long term investment in your operation and community. When done correctly and ethically it can develop youth players who eventually become ” homegrowns” which are economically beneficial

Here is my 2cents for what it’s worth:

Based on xfire surf results, almost the entire team returning along with the addition of the best player from last years eastside team, paired with the continual loss of FC’s top players to TA my prediction is xfire will take FC to the woodshed and it won’t be close

Updx will give westside fits and squeak out a narrow win as they continue to improve with their new additions to their back line, saw them in Redmond for crossfire challenge and they have added some new faces and westside still lacks a difference maker in the middle of the field which is necessary. Westside has a ton of potential to improve, but just not enough to compliment their edges where their best player with a big left foot resides...

Wash timbers will win and have a key addition to their defense but also lose a very pivotal player in the middle who made things go, but beware- a top 05 (who is a midfielder) played up for CFC most of the year and is a significant difference maker and they also have the 18 year old wonderkid in AJS, also who knows what else they will add or lose to the local teams like 4H, big wildcard that will be answered in a few days

Last year in the first week, Crossfire kicked FC's teeth in. FC immediately went and pulled back all its 05s that were playing up.... after which FC only got its teeth kicked in when playing WashT with TM on the roster.

Wash timbers will win and have a key addition to their defense but also lose a very pivotal player in the middle who made things go, but beware- a top 05 (who is a midfielder) played up for CFC most of the year and is a significant difference maker and they also have the 18 year old wonderkid in AJS, also who knows what else they will add or lose to the local teams like 4H, big wildcard that will be answered in a few days

AJS has decided to stay at the U13 level and will not be playing U14 this year.

Well, we've got a mini Neuer in goal, a mini Ramos on the back line, a mini Suarez up top, a mini Neymar and Ronaldo the wings, a mini Cruyff at center mid, a mini Kante behind him, and a mini Pele wearing the #10 shirt, so I think we have the Mini-esta covered.

And our coach regularly advises Jurgen Klopp on technical matters.
