When we win the World Cup, and we will, with a team that highly overachieves, because that's what we do, and the countries that you are from and love so much, will underachieve, because that's what they do, it will be a miracle on grass (not ice) level sports story. Much better story than how we kick everybody's ass in Basketball, Olympic, etc.... There are 3 world cup that come to mind where we almost went to the Semi Final and should have, one where we pushed Ghana and Belgium, to the brink in the round of 16. Everytime we have been there, we have competed and pushed powerhouse countries to the brink. One day, we will win those and keep competing. By the way, our players are not soft, they are just far more intelligent than the rest of the World players. Our players, value school, still want to go to college, have played multiple sports, most much tougher than soccer and could kick your kids ass in a New York minute. So, again, why don't you take your kid and go back to your ****hole of a country?
NO freaking way that your kid enjoyed going to north carolina and doing the whole thing, just to go sit on the bench and not play one minute. Specially because, i am sure he grew up the superstar and playing the whole game.
Ask a professional (mental health) what that does to any athlete, imagine a kid...
This is a setup to produce losers in life and drug addicts. You sacrificed school (ie this weekend in philly, missing days of school) and school and an education was the only chance the little guy had.
Enjoy the free cleats and free food and free warm up suits. In a few years, you will be kicking the kid out of the house cause he pawned your cheap jewelry to buy weed.

Worry first about Trinidad and Tobago before wanting to compete, yet alone Mexico.

No, I think he just sees what the rest of us who are there see and that is that the coach just cares about one thing and that is taking care of his own!!! Not about putting the best product on the field. Soccer is not an individual sport but you can use the strength of an individual when you find a weakness in your opponent.
Here at IM you have VP and he not only is doing it to his players on his team but has been influential with other coaches too! Say what you want it is true just go to any game and see for yourself. Individuals that came from his program in all age groups he is pushing for them to move forward only!
It doesn't matter who plays betters, practices better and who makes an impact on the field. Just look at his star 07 the only reason you know he is on the field is that he is smaller than everyone. Wasted talent sitting on the bench for this kid maybe in a couple of years but can't play at this level right now good tecnical but too small, too weak and not physical enough!
Sitting here today and watched the U17 coach put all his players in because it's a showcase while VP played to win and won barely what a hot mess! GO IM!

Watching the game on you tube it was evident the kid is having a hard time keeping up physically with opponents. Just hope this doesn't end bad for him definitely a bright future ahead.
On the other hand the IM 05 team has a lot of good quality players keep putting SFL on the map boys!

Axel
You all can be quiet now. Axel scored a penalty and an absolute stunner volley against dc United in the 05’s 3-2 win. He may not be able to compete physically and win as many tackles as the other kids but he is incredible on the ball. Makes sharp, smart passes and rarely loses the ball. Hats off to this kid playing 2 years up and playing amazing. I wish him the best of luck in the future.
