As teams representing the US they should be paid somewhat equally for wins and losses in the international realm, not so difficult to do as USSoccer has a ton of money in escrow, since they are not promoting any grassroots movements or DA, EXNL, etc, we parents are paying a pretty penny for our precious children to participate and be out of the house. See how reading allows you to better comprehend the issues, it’s never been money, it has always been and looking from all the misogynistic comments her continues to be gender.

They show up when needed and competed against the world and part of the US still want them to show restrain and not celebrate goals and keep quiet while getting pennies for their efforts, and btw they trained for years to get there, so yes they are pretty special and should get paid a decent wage. 20% of the ENTIRE US working population makes six figures.
A 11B E5 Sergeant in a combat war zone of Afghanistan’s pay can range from $30,000 to $40,000 depending on experience.
When you say that a person making six figures is not getting a “decent wage” and that $100,000 salary to kick a ball is “pennies” you have lost perspective.

Their lawsuit also addresses significant differences in travel arrangements, playing conditions and support staff. While the equal pay portion of the lawsuit may not fly, they should have all the same resources as the men and not be forced to play on synthetic fields of which the men have refused to play on.
U.S. Soccer needs to pony up and pay them and support them at similar level to that of the men. They have more than earned it...

Men such as Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo have taken a stand for all of the men and refused to play on synthetic fields, and FIFA has met their demands.
The women such as Alex Morgan or Megan Rapinoe should do the same and be willing to do it if management calls them on it.
The men receive no salary.
The women receive six figure salaries.
The men receive higher per game bonuses.
One provides a great salary with security.
The other provides no security with greater earning potential.
These are the facts.
I personally think that they should both be provided the exact same resources for both men and women by US soccer, get rid of the guaranteed salaries, pay them both per game bonuses that is equal percentage wise to their contributions to their respective genders FIFA’s four year World Cup cycle revenue and call it a day.
That makes sense, so it won’t happen.
