You need the proper equipment which most towns won't invest in. Many colleges will.

Between the rain now, warmer temps this week, longer hours with sun and turf being warmer in general, it will be gone in no time.

To the OP - why don’t you get your shovel out?

To the OP - why don’t you get your shovel out or organize something with other concerned parents?

The thread op isn't a concerned parent. Most likely it's the same guy who bashes CFC about their lack of lights

At FSA we have played friendly’s the last two weekends.
I guess you did not since we didn’t invite you over to play.
The snow drifts actually help block the wind on the field which makes for better playing conditions.
Plus I can stand on them to watch. Great elevation.
Last weekend we played at fsa. Not same experience.

If they had lights then that would speed up the melting

It was pretty damn deep snow on the field. I stood on a trash can.
                      Glad it was not windy.

I don't want to speak for all CFC parents, but I'd say for many the frustration is that it appears the owners and coaches don't give a **** about the players since they don't want to go to any tournaments, they don't want to clear the fields, and they generally don't care to help any of the girls get recruited other than the top 5 who didn't really need any help anyway. Just saying.

at our high school, we arent allowed to plow the field as it will cancel your warranty. When you use something almost every day for over a decade, why would you risk damaging it so you can use it for an extra week or two?

Ok CFC, the people that laid your turf are local and will plow with their plows that don't remove the fill. I guess you can do it at Iona and SHU, but not for your for own for profit business. What's it cost, a $1000? No refunds last year, but this year, just hoping it melts. Kind of obvious to everyone. It's your business, have a little pride. Maybe another Maserati?

That is not true.....they merely hook the plows up to the heifer soccer moms and let them go
