ECNL (calling this a tie until further notice)

Stars Blue

GAL (giving the nod to NEFC still unbeaten)
NEFC
SS Selects

DPL (giving the nod to NEFC NS beat Liverpool 4-0 and Aztecs 4-1)
NEFC NS
Liverpool

CCL (clear top team in this league and maybe top 2 overall although tied NEFC NS 1-1)
Surf

NPL (no one close at the NPL level)
Aztecs NH

More changes for our 2007 girls this spring.

ECNL/ECNL-R- Adding clubs, mostly from GA. A few very solid additions. Supposedly more to come.

(Stars & Scorpions)

GA- Lost a handful of strong clubs but added twice as many as it lost. Quality of new clubs is questionable. Biggest impact locally, Empire United in Western NY. Club was supposedly kicked out of GDA because of a -100 goal difference in each of its age groups.

(NEFC & SSS)

EDP- No expansion or subtraction.

(Surf & Juventus)

DPL- Just lost most of the conference. Still has NEFC B team, NEFC NS & Seacoast. Added Juventus.

NPL- One year after leaving NPL for DPL things have come full circle and the clubs have returned.

Aztec, Liverpool, SPOL, Best, Bayside & Select B team.

Tension between SSS & NEFC going to have ripple effects for the 2007s. NEFC desperately trying to get into ECNL and out of GA, “abandoning” SSS. SSS would never, ever be allowed into ECNL.

Select pulls out of DPL and convinced 5 other DPL clubs to go with them back to NPL, ******* off their GA/DPL partners, NEFC & Seacoast, who are left high and dry with a barely viable league for their B/C teams. On top of that SSS trying to steal the NEFC south shore region.

Wont be surprised if SSS is only in NPL soon.

Maybe there can be a truce between NEFC dad and Stars White dad after all these years and both their daughters will finally be on the same ECNL team! I definitely dont see NEFC dad sticking around for EDP!

If (when?) GA comes to an end NEFC is going to have to either crawl back into bed with SSS for NPL 2.0 or go to EDP with Surf & Juventus. I can’t imagine NEFC families are real happy with the state of things right now.

What I don't get is why NEFC and SSS don't work together for common ground. They both need each other desperately. Put ego's aside they should work together 100%. Why are they on different sides as GA is tanking?

LL cannot work with anybody. She has to be in control. Ideally if Scorpions and SSS could work together they would be the best club in the state. South Shore has a lot better player pool at the moment than any other area.

it's a critical time in club soccer when things are constantly moving. Stars and Scorpions seem pretty tight in girls soccer so why can't NEFC and SSS work together? Yes I get it LL but both clubs really need each other.
