JD from stars and JA from bayside
Also trying to stop any club in any type of partnership getting in by making the club, once it severs ties with a parent club, sit out of NEP for 1 year
Meaning no club will withdraw from a partnership because they won’t want to sit out

Meaning no parent affiliate will lose the thousands of dollars those small independents pay them in order to have their clubs play in the NEP. Despite the fact that many of these smaller clubs have quality teams that play at some of the highest NEP division levels.
It's borderline blackmail. I'll let you play in the NEP but only if you pay me. Oh and then on top of that you're still going to have to pay all your NEP fees that every other club pays, Etc
I don't think there's any coincidence the GPS & Seacoast are the big clubs with the most number of smaller affiliated clubs under their name.

Yeah, these clubs should be let in independently if it is the right thing for them, but let's not pretend that youth soccer in American isn't just a reflection of everything else in America.
