What to make of the league’s brazen statement about George Floyd.

On Saturday, the NFL, like so many brands eager to capitalize on a horrific situation, released a statement on the police killing of 46-year-old George Floyd. This press release stood out for its audacity. The thoughts allegedly attributed to league commissioner Roger Goodell were a significantly diminished version of what was actually said by Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback blackballed by the NFL for delivering a far more effective message four years ago. et etc etc

....what to do now Cons hey?....maybe you can watch some re-runs of Duck Dynasty.
    what happened last time?
players kneeled, fans stayed home and didn't watch
revenues went down, viewership went down and ad $$$ went down- then they stopped kneeling and everything started to go back up

its easy- if you piss off your customers they just simply stop being your customers
and then your business and those big salaries are lowered- the NFL can do as they please, so can their customers- free market at work

Don’t count those chickens until they are hatched con. You are assuming a college football season and have no reason to at this point.

And why do you think college players won’t take a knee this year? Their colleges will not stop them if they want.

The Times they are a changing

            💯

The cons might think about doing what Trump is right now - erecting a wall or 8ft chain link fence around their places so that the world can be kept OUT!

Many universities have issued statements of solidarity with peaceful protestors. Of course some will allow it, even more so because many teams are comprised of majority African American players.

There's a good reason the WH rarely trots him out for interviews any longer. Rudy Colludy is out to lunch.

Study 2019 by National Academy of Sciences

in 2019 police shot only 40 suspects.
Of the 40, only 10 were black.

in 2019 48 police officers were shot by suspects.

Facts and perspective ladies and gentleman...All lives matter (black, orange, white and blue) but the liberal agenda/media is firing things up and blowing things really out of proportion just to try and pin it on a president they cannot control.

message to all: kool-aid does taste good, but its not necessarily good for you.
wake up people, smell the coffee, drink some and get to work.

Back in 1990, New Yorkers might not be able to fathom a time when murder wouldn’t be part of their daily lives. That year, more than 2,200 people were murdered in New York City. The murder rate in 2017 was down to 290. The significant change marks a trend that violent crime in the city keeps dropping in every borough.

“(This year) will go down in history as the safest year we’ve seen in nearly seven decades, that span covers three generations of New Yorkers,” said Commissioner James P. O’Neill, of the New York Police Department, during a year-end crime press briefing held at NYPD Headquarters on Jan. 5.

The last time the murder rate was this low was in 1951. According to Mayor Bill de Blasio, there has been a 93 percent reduction in stop and frisk, a controversial policing tactic, which has been accompanied by the lowest crime NYC has ever had.

“That’s proof-positive that we used to be making a mistake in this city, we stopped making that mistake, we made ourselves safer,” he said at the January press briefing.

There were also 30,000 fewer arrests in 2017 than 2016.

“Today’s statistics prove that New York City is the safety it’s ever been,” said Speaker of City Council Corey Johnson, at the NYPD crime press briefing. “It is hard to even comprehend.”
Jan 7, 2020 - More than 300 people were murdered in 2019, an increase of nearly 8 percent compared with 2018, and the highest number in three years, according to police statistics. The uptick has been enough to unsettle some New Yorkers accustomed to record low crime rates not seen since the 1950s.

                                Winning, too much winning

Today Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) announced plans to remove a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from Richmond’s Monument Avenue.
