What we need to consider is that a contract was signed and money was exchanged. If the contract is not honored, then compensation/refunds need to be granted. We all have choices to make, those who paid via a credit card can file a complaint with their card company or we can sue the clubs. I would hope that rational minds prevail and a fair compromise can be reached.

Looks like June 17th is the date
Im not sure if FSA will use that date to reopen but they probably will. Im sure they have been waiting for someone else to say it is OK to get back out there, but they have wanted that date to come as soon as possible.
They want that date to come as soon as possible so in their minds the credits or refunds can be as small as possible. In their minds it will be a small 3 month pause because June 17 is about 3 months from when the state closed in mid march.
But what is left? What is remaining in the season?
Small group practices for the next 2-3 weeks after June 17th puts us at mid July
Full team practices for a couple weeks after that gets us close to August
After that maybe a couple scrimmages against other teams in the same club
And now for the High School kids they are off to preseason practices for the Fall
No leagues, no games against other clubs, no tournaments or showcases
The only thing left are some modified practices
but you can be sure of one thing, start back up in any form on June 17th and FSA will use that to calculate how little they give back to their families
Other clubs have already established refunds or credits and free clinics and camps without the benefit of that date
FSA is juts waiting for that date so the math will work as much as possible in their favor

Eventually this will come back to haunt them.

How is the fact that joey makes a higher team because his older brother louie is a stud not taking for granted? the signs were there all along.
