Of course there are kids doing unofficial visits now during the college season to watch the teams play. I would not really classify that as the coach is out recruiting players. Those are players the coach has already seen.
The original comment was meant to address the comment about how ecnl was already so far ahead of the Thorns already for this season. Reality is there are more Thorns 2018 then at CU or FCP and they have not played in a regular season Thorns game yet.
