But North has the easy road so give the South a couple more their feelings don't get hurt. While you're at it give them a trophy or a medal so we're all happy.

Division realignments based on enrollment eliminated D2 win Central and West (ending in 2012 I think). As it is there are D2 schools in EMass with 25-50% larger enrollment than some D1 schools in CMass and WMass.

South plays 1 more game in their tourney. Less rest and more injuries so it's hard to compare. Plus there are much more quality teams in the south so North has the advantage going into the EMass final.

Still a great feat to win it all by anyone who wins it but the set up makes zero sense.

Do you need some common sense or do you just like having an easy road?

We all know the South has it so tough. We get it.

                  "Easy road." Brilliant take.

Spare me. So the South winner plays an extra EASY game (4 total), instead of the 3 that everyone else plays to win their district. Big deal. It's a chance for the end of the bench to get some of their own playoff enjoyment by getting on the field for a lot of minutes they don't get beyond the quarterfinals.

2013: South #1 seed Franklin loses state semi-final to Newton North, defeated Milford (8-7-3, #17 seed) by a grueling score of 5-2 in the first round.

2014: South #4 seed Whitman-Hanson loses to state final to West Springfield, defeated Newton South (9-7-2, #13 seed) by a score of 1-0 in the first round.

2015: South #4 seed Needham wins state final over Algonquin, defeating Weymouth (12-7-0, #13 seed) by a score of 3-0 didn't take any significant toll evidently.

2016: South #3 seed Whitman-Hanson loses state semi-final to Central Catholic, defeated Weymouth (8-5-4, #14 seed) by a score of 2-0 in the opening round must've done them in.

2017: South #5 seed King Philip loses state semi-final to Westford Academy, defeating Oliver Ames (11-7-0, #12 seed) by a score of 3-0 in the first round surely wiped them out.

Anyone else get the impression that being among the highest seeds in the South mostly just tells us that you play a soft schedule and probably doesn't help prepare a team for the the playoff run?

Are you an idiot or just play one on TS?

An playoff extra game always takes a toll on a team as well as their opponents. I know offhand of two of the above mentioned teams beating higher higher ranked team who lost key starting players to injury in the playoffs. Would they have made a difference? maybe, maybe maybe not, but that's not the point.

To argue differently is simply being a contrarian or a troll, or both.

Who did KP play that was an easy win? Also, with the extra game , they don't get any extra rest. Terrible setup for a tournament. I get it , the south has more teams. Then start their tournament a week earlier than when the North starts. These games are physical you idiot and someone or multiple kids get hurt every game (have you been to a game moron?).
