Most typical high schools won't lose more than 1-2 players, if even that. A few with a more concentrated group of high level players might feel the pinch more, but very few. Overall it will still be bad soccer, but a (mostly) satisfying experience for 99% of players and families.

Private school soccer will still thrive

The impact won't be meaningful for at least a couple of years when DA will look quite a bit different in terms of the caliber of player on the rosters than when they roll it out this fall.

Coach sucks. Has had the best team in the state many times and never won.

Unfortunately this is true because the team has talent. The parent-coach situation has become a major issue.

Many of the "committed" players are no longer playing at 100%. The coach doesn't suck especially with his track record of over 3000 wins.

at least you have an actual soccer coach. Most schools have teachers that have to look up the positions on the internet.
