Soccer is a fairly simple game, all about the match-ups. If highly paid college coaches can't figure out how to beat a high press with a fast counter and some speed up top, they probably don't belong coaching.

Well, since many teams deploy a high-press with great success, maybe some of these clubs should be looking for TS for advice?

Not many coaches have figured it out. Amherst is the only team to get multiple goals against Williams.

No one left in the schedule will beat Williams or even notch a goal

Springfield gave Williams a pretty good fight. One of their stronger opponents. Good ball movement. Although lucky break on PK.

Endicott with another win today, program getting back to where it should be maybe? Some fall from grace for Wentworth though! A lot of people on this thread were tipping them for the CCC title again this year.

Looks like Wentworth coach moving to Wheaton was a huge loss. Only 4 wins the entire season!

You're right - Wheaton are 11-3-1 this year!

Springfield has had a very good year also. It will be interesting to see who makes the NCAA’s from the NEWMAC.

In my view, MIT is in, regardless of conference tourney results.

Both Springfield and Wheaton have had NCAA worthy seasons. Wheaton has had perhaps a slightly better season. They meet Tuesday. They will likely meet again in the semi's of the NEWMAC tourney. If either sweeps both games, that team is in the NCAAs. If they split, Wheaton probably goes, but Springfield may get a bid.

Tough to see three bids going to NEWMAC. Big question is how many bids will the NESCAC get. In the NCAA regional ranking, 7 of the top 12 were NESCAC.

However it goes for Wheaton, nice to see a fast turn around for a program that had been in a downward spiral for the last few seasons. Congrats to the players and new coach.
