He is a fantastic guy, but he's over his head. The game was knotted early on and then it just got away from the Crimson and they don't have the talent or organization to match Princeton. I felt badly for the girls. It was a little shocking. This is a team that has been 1 or 2 in the Ivies for as long as I can remember.

BU is now sitting in 4th place. Navy and Bucknell play next week for the regular season crown. Home field and byes go to them or perhaps Colgate.

BC drops another "nail biter" to UVA. 2-1. Even game. Eagles goal called back for offsides infraction. They are nipping at the heels of the upper half of ACC. Likely out of NCAA's because of a few poor early season results. Clearly the best team in New England, but that and $1 at Cumberland Farm only gets you a cup of coffee. There's always next year.

Despite BU ending up with the #3 or #4 seed, I don't think they have anything to worry about in post-season. Play the best soccer, dominate a high percentage of their play, create the most chances - more than capable of winning the championship!

Eagleman's power of positive fandom has clearly spread east.

Agreed, none of Boston's teams will be in the NCAA's this season.

The question for BC is will they qualify for their conference tournament. They have not done so for 4 seasons. The top 8 qualify and BC is currently #10 with one game to play. Clemson and Louisville are the only teams they might pass. Louisville tied UNC today to get its 1 point lead. BC will have to win and hope both of them lose.

UConn has clinched a spot in AAC tournament. Only chance for NCAA spot is for them to win. Not impossible, but not likely. USF + USF are both very good.

PC 2 Seton Hall 1 Friars clinch a spot in Big East Tourney.

It is very possible that no New England team will make the NCAA tourney. UNH has the best shot but even they lost to lowly UMBC yesterday.

This is a very poor reflection on soccer in this area. Are we not producing the players? Are we not able to keep them in state? what is the issue?

With Stars, BB etc in the area, why are the teams not better?

Take a look at the area's rosters. Most of the kids are not from NE ECNL-level teams.

You do have kids from this area playing for programs out of the area which speaks to poor recruiting by local college coaches.

or those clubs who push their kids to go out of state like the Stars

Next year should be better for the Eagles. Return 5 of their top 6 scorers and their goalie
