    Assume they gave BS a 10% cut as a finder's fee? $3000

Not bad for making a few open promises. No way the players or parents could force them to do anything. BS stopped showing up around March. Half quit at the end of last year in June. The other half should be quitting by this Christmas. Not any rock stars on the roster, but a good group of girls that love to play soccer. Crushed by money. There's your legacy BS. BU finished off the stragglers. Nice job.
That number should be corrected for 2017.

    24 x 1700 = 40,800

Thanks for subsidizing the GDA program.

The truth behind that's girl team they are all to concern about high school soccer than BU. None show up there's no team when no players show up since day one. The core of the team prefers to stay home.

What does that tell you? Those players feel that the practices at HS are better than club. What a joke! The coach wastes time on pushing drills. No touches on the ball. Then 20 minutes of keep away scrimmage on a quarter field. Waste of time. Even teenage girls can see that. The game results show it. No synergy between players. Coach is completely lost.

Dude give it a break the girls team you keep bringing up is not good period. You can only do so much with what you have . Your daughters team is not that good.Sorry it took you so long to figure it out. Usually by U14 most parents figure out who is good and who is not so good. It just took you a little time to figure out what everyone else knows.

LMAO. Of course it is the players that are bad. No way it could be the club or the coach. That must be why BU did so well at ECNL and their awesome start at the GDA. Yep, it's definitely the players. Nothing wrong with the program or coaches.

Let us know when you pull your head out of your azz.

The players are not at the level and don't belong on a GDA roster. There are more than enough players in the Boca area, which shows us that early player development is poor at Boca. Often the better players on the BU rosters come from outside the Boca United area. So they are not developing a core of players that are good enough to meet the demands of playing in the ECNL and now the DA. This is the case with Weston and WFF too. Clay (USA) and the clubs feeding into Clay (USA) tend to do a better job with early players development and then they add top players from places like Gainsville and SE GA. The core of Clay kids are already good, but the outside kids they get help them with being able to play at a national level. Boca and Weston need to do better with young players and develop within the club to develop that core and then add top quality players from the outside. Weston and Boca don't do a very good job with girls soccer at the ECNL and now GDA level, but it's even worse with their young teams. Bring them up right and it will pay off later.

Not sure what your talking about there with Clay County. Scores over the weekend state differently.
                      04 1-1
                      03 2-0 Boca
                      02/01 2-5 Clay
                      00/99 1-1

Really think there are too many haters out there. But that's your problem.

Being a very good player helps those with average grades, being a student and an average player, don't expect to play soccer. Both is best, but at the end of the day the better player will win out.
What schools and what GPA's? I call BS. Not enough scholarship money to field a complete soccer team each year. Academics is immensely important for coaches when recruiting for soccer.

Soccer is not a revenue sport like football and basketball with added help of tv revenue and alums kicking in $$$.

It is HIGHLY unlikely that your kid will get free ride without that add of academic money offset the huge gap in athletic money for soccer.

So let’s forget about Jacksonville area girls clubs winning national championships or having multiple national players or that fact that they have a history of winning strong tournaments/events prior to GDA. Not just Clay, but also Ponte Vedra. There has been a history of success and the young teams turn into good older teams with highly skillful players. BU has no positive history other than maybe Team Boca that did ok 8 years ago. This isn’t hate, this is just wanting more for our teams and the kids on our teams. We are light years away from being able to compete on a national level. OC had a couple of teams that could play with top teams in the ECNL, but they should since they cost so much less than the rest of the DA programs. Look at our history and what is coming up for our future. It is not looking very good. It’s not hate, not a problem, it’s just a concern.

Maybe keeping BOTH ECNL and GDA in that area really hurt.
Clay getting bruised by BU looks really bad for them.
A couple of the teams there are really struggling.

Those clay teams did not look good at all, there isn’t enough elite talent on the girls side to have too many programs , hate me all you want , but just stating the truth , either ecnl or da will not survive the long run , stay tuned

Boca United GDA are really bad. The point is Boca United are doing a poor job with younger players, and those players turn into older less than average GDA players. Let's make it easy for you to understand; good teams, even less than average teams don't get beat 4-0....or 7-0....or 10-0....or 13-0...Very bad teams get beat by those scores.
Look at the results of the Atlanta clubs that played in National League and ECNL last year. When playing outside the SE Region they played many tight games. Which means Atlanta area girls soccer on a national level, not better or worse than the rest of the teams in the nation, they compete. BU and Weston don't compete and show that they shouldn't even be in the league. There is a cycle or poor player development with these two clubs on the girls side.
