Pacific FC Blue, or least the coach and some players.
I believe the Salmon Creek's original B team folded or just left.

They were told they would get a great coach and be part of a great age group....typical salmon creek, kids left after the coach turned out to be not so great and the age group being a bit of a sideshow i.m.e. Anyone who was there will tell you the same.

Pacific blue is right above a rec team and the coach was outgrown by the team at u11 but is trying to win games with his players being poached from all sides including salmon creek....

      They ll fit right in.

The Pacific FC coach did not leave voluntarily according to a parent.
It'll be interesting to see if he can still coach his old team under the WYS rules.

Right.....where did you get your info??? He has more experience than the A team coach now and will probably end up coaching them a lot. I heard they pushed really hard to get him.

            Deja vu!

This reminds me of the Victor Garcette saga when he left Salmon Creek with the original Nemesis '99 team for WSA. That team later became WSA Valencia. Victor was given a years' coaching suspension for a recruiting violation because FCSC wouldn't release him.

Gotta love the never-ending Salmon Creek drama. Makes for good entertainment.

              Yeah, a coach can leave.
              Or a team can leave.
But if a coach leaves and takes the team with him, then his old club needs to approve or want them both gone.

A short interpretation of WYSA Rule 2.13

Pacific is a small club of lower level selct teams with volunteer coaches and board members. They don't typically get involved in bigger club politics and wouldn't stand in the way of teams or players moving.

Wrong, Pacific is not that small anymore they have just under 40 teams now. True they are volunteers but they are far from low level select. They have some fantastic select level teams and a couple teams that are far better than that, don't sell them short.
As far as this coach goes he was released by the club so no the rule does not apply. He is free to take as many players as want to go.

Pacific is a nice little club. Parks & rec has about 40 teams too.

                        From Fall OPL:

Pacific had 0 teams in the NPL.
2 teams in the Premier league (a girls U14 team and a boys U14 team).

If you are a volunteer coach, how many complaints would you have to have for the Board to say no more. He did not request to leave, he was told to step down.
Knowing full well that he could take players with him. Must have been a lot of issues for Pacific to ask him to leave. He will fit right in at Salmon Creek.

A select club that has been around for only 5 years? It started with 5 teams and is now over 40. Some starting to get into Premier. Maybe give it some more time.

Salmon Creek started with 25 teams 5 years ago??? and is not down to how many. On the boys side, they have only 3 teams.

Can you call yourself Premier if you cannot even field a team at every age?

Any new Business it takes time to get going. But what do the numbers tell you? Luckily Pacific is close to Salmon Creek, so it makes it very easy to get more kids.

This was not a snap decision but a necessary one. Pacific hasn't lost a thing.
