What are the other training centers he has built out besides Newtown? I’ve been to Newtown and I agree it’s nice.

I was more so talking about piggy-backing premier AAU basketball on a premier soccer in order to make even more $$$$. Can FSA be far behind?

There's good money in Bball. It's no longer the US version of soccer/the poor man's sport. Serious players play for clubs. travel a lot, tournaments the whole shabang. Good players can still get discovered in high school and elsewhere so it's better than soccer in that regard, but creeping towards soccer also.

Basketball is one of the last "local" "travel" sports. Soccer, baseball, softball have all been eaten up by pay-to-play year-round teams. Basketball is ripe for the picking. Not to mention, basketball never has to deal with weather. With schools losing state / federal funding and populations dropping, there will be plenty of gym time open to rent. Don't even need to build a facility to get a program off the ground.

I wonder if the European model takes over at some point. All sports are run by clubs.

You're joking right? AAU basketball has been around forever and, like it's brethren pay to play versions in other sports, it has filtered down to teams for every ability with most towns now having versions of AAU teams year round for girls and boys. AAU was probably the original premier-level sport.

This is talking soccer and noones cares about half ass clubs To be dominant at the multisport level will take years . Our kids will have graduated college by then ,plus premeire bball has been around for ever nothing new.

It doesn't guarantee anything. It has its on director and coaches. AH doesn't know squat about basketball and isn't involved. They're just using the AC CT name and the NYA facility.

How would you know anything about AH’s basketball knowledge?

Was speaking to the year-round model more than the presents of AAU bball.
