Come on now....this can't be so. I'm used to all the parents with kids that don't play or got cut telling us this club is falling apart.

How can they argue? Club is performing ahead of last year

Proud for the club, players and parents. Hope all the teams finish out the year strong. Looking forward to next season tryouts.

It would be important for the club to have a solid tryout and select the right players and a manageable roster size for the upcoming U14 ECNL team.

Upcoming U14 needs to cut some players who have been at the club and made the team just because they were there last year or because of who their parents or siblings are! Minimize roster, add a 2nd team and keep them working hard to improve to make ECNL team.

Ideally the ECNL team should have no more than 18 players. The NPL team another 18 players. Both teams should train together and relegate players based on the team's needs and the player's performances.

There has been rumors about several current U14 players dropping down. There are a pair in each the current ECNL team and the NPL team. All players have big size.

yes, but won't happen. parents wallets speak volumes. it happens at all levels. you can even buy your kid's position. scary.

LOL..this is a load of ****. There may be a few players on different teams that dont belong on their current teams. It happens in every club in Florida, ODP, Federation and WFF NPL and ECNL teams. Nobody, is buying a position for their kid. That is just a joke. Where I notice the issue is that you have smaller but MORE skilled players vs Bigger LESS skilled players and whether they can compete at the level they are at. Some coaches will favor a smaller more skilled player and some may choose the bigger/faster less skilled player.

After a year with many changes and to large of rosters I am sure the club will make the appropriate changes for ECNL and NPL teams. I agree each roster should only have 18 strong players. If a player is needed for some reason you move an NPL player up for the opportunity and fill the spot. Once tryouts are over no more adding.
