If the applied teams are posted , It would be beneficial for us to decide if we attend the event or do the newss tournament .

Really? Would it be 'beneficial' for your your team to know this? Thanks for telling the rest of us. Will someone out there get on this so that this team can decide whether or not the accepted teams at the Manhattan tournament are worthy of their presence. Can someone get this information out to these poor people so that they might make their important plans? Is there anyone out there that can help?? Oh my goodness, I can't bear the thought that these terribly troubled folk, without any resources what so ever, will not be able to make an educated decision as to there to take their top-notch team. I am so distraught over this....... Anyone....please help them!!!!!!

What the prior poster said about the age groups is correct. The 9v9 games are played on fields so small that some games consist of keepers punting the ball back and forth to each other. They need to adjust the rules to prohibit kicking the ball in the air or use a heavy ball because the games become a disgrace. They don't care about the younger or lower brackets at that tourney. The top brackets of the older ages are very good and played on good fields at Randall's Island. The problem every year seems to be the cold and wind. The wind, in particular, can be the most dominant factor in those games.
