Simply not true. I am not a fan of OC at all, but all the clubs (Rush, CFK, and OC) were told without a joint app it would not be awarded. Rush could have still applied solo but it would not have been awarded DA. CFK would not have either. The decision to file jointly has hurt the club from a quality standpoint on the boys side - all the better players play DA - but in my opinion is good for the kids because it allows the most talented some fantastic opps that they would most likely not get without a DA. In the end I would say good decision because the club did what was best for the kids.
