Wow that is sad that dc the new coach who promised so much has not delivered at Super Y or as the u13 coach. I am glad my child never returned to wp for either. Wp tryouts are soon and hopefully you will come join us girls. wink wink

Agreed. U11 team is better, but AB picked some of those players from HG team to make it look like he wasn't favoring his team. Weston is doing two teams, that's what he should've done. But we are talking about AB here. Not the brightest crayon in the box.

Weston is organized. They have excellent coaches with a fantastic resume. West pines has nothing to offer my kid. Many players will leave the clubs if west pines continues to have the coaches that they have. Out with the old and in with the new. West Pines step it up or many players will be stepping out to other clubs.

By all means, leave Pines. Just don't think Weston is the answer. I thought it was and it was a mess. Many of the girls teams this year disbanded due to politics and poor decisions. Keep options open - Davie and Sunrise are good options too.

Who is it? something that happened 14 years ago? let's give you some recent history. JL and AL got kicked out of WPU 15 months ago for being total douches. both of them. constant complaining to the city about everything that bothered them, like their kids not getting enough playing time because the coaches didn't know what they were doing, how much the other kids sucked and how things weren't being done their way.

Then they left for cooper city. they got kicked out just this last summer, because JL was recruiting boys to weston. while he was still the SFUYSA rep for cooper city. Oh, and his wife was telling all the parents on their older daghter's team that there weren't going to be enough girls to have a team. they had a full roster after they found out that JL and his family were gone. they hated them, especially after everyone found out what they did.

Then there's the weston move. they only took 6 months to get kicked out of weston. seems that the board at weston didn't like JL recruiting players without them knowing about it. the nerve of weston. plus the constant complaining about playing time and how those coaches sucked too. running theme with them.

Now there at sunrise. my guess is that they'll be asked to "leave" in 6 months, because the B teams that the girls play on will drive JL and Al nuts. plus, GC only puts up with them, as long as both of them continue recruiting from other clubs. they use TS and actively talk with players and parents. good luck with that, because they're doing it right now to sunrise. can those two keep their mouths shut? well, 4th times the charm. That's recent history on that family.

Ever since he left, he has been on TS trying to make the club resent its decision. JL just won't quit. They won't play at west pines for at least 5 years. Yeah, Sunrise is the answer. and weston isn't the answer. why? because they kicked you out too. What about cooper city as an option. oh no, they kicked you out. just give it up with the constant cyber bullying, or it will get ugly in a while. very ugly. look, you were hated by your fellow parents after the team money disappeared. AL was no longer team manager, money was gone. the parents at cooper city found out about the two faced talk about how good sunrise was, and that there wouldn't be enough girls to have a team there. how, JL tried to recruit boys to weston (before he got kicked out of weston) while representing cooper city at SFUYSA meetings. such a nice guy. NOT! this is a warning to clubs and parents, please stay away from teams with parents that have the last name (sounds like) Bowery. figure it out. weston, cooper city and west pines have kicked them out of their clubs. Yeah, they're good people?

Let's talk about important things like developing players which is not the case on the girls side and some of the younger boy teams as well. Stop bashing parents who are no longer here and focus on the problems at the wpu club. It would be great to be so passionate about the club as well as the people who have long been gone it would be the greatest club right now. Lets face it it is not. The club needs to get rid of the problems and the bad coaches to make it more successful. Hopefully for next season it will happen. If not good bye.

Put her in a club that cares about getting her to the next level for education and soccer. So long to WPU for us! We have heard too much BS for too long. We already feel like the weight of the world is off our shoulders. The grass is definitely greener!!
We will miss some good friends and families, but encourage everyone to look at better options elsewhere too.

If you want us to go by that link (which we all know is not 100% accurate) it's contradicting what you're saying because right now WP is ahead of Davie. You're saying leave WP and go to Sunrise, Boca, or Davie but yet the link is showing WP is better than Davie.

Look, there's 4 teams ranked in the top 10 another 2 in the top 20. I might have missed one. typical stuff these clus are better, not the others. just give it up. sunrise costs an arm and a leg. they charge $100, just to tryout at their club, and they force you to buy tickets to their banquet that's at least another $100. how about the fact that they charge the parents, not just the normal travel expenses, but also an additional per diem every day. that's why they push for every out of state tournament possible. One coach detroyed an entire age group, another team had three coaches in three years. Oh, and are they a not for profit? I can't tell, because they aren't listed as a not for profit anywhere. they don't report anywhere their tax returns. that place is a mess like everywhere else. yeah, it's a perfect place. plus, the have the L(owery) parents that will blow up in their face at any moment.
