Sorry thread OP. You must be new to club soccer. If you get any money back it will be pennies on the dollar and the exception to the rule. Contracts are intentionally kept very vague and favor the club. If you're at a club that secured a turf field you may see practices resume mid January (if the state allows). Otherwise zoom training calls and practicing in the yard for now

Money back
Not sure if the clubs should be penalized for govt mandated rules.
They still have to pay coaches
They still have to honor contracts for fields
They still have costs even if 30 days for CT players is banned.
nah, I don't think you get anything back. And I'm not sure you should unless it was a program done away from your team dues..... might get something like that back.

Let’s get this straight.
1) They dont have to pay their coaches, they choose to. Lay them off like every other company. Also, this was not a surprise, we all knew this and the clubs were obligated to protect their players finances by ensuring they didnt enter intonany contracts with coaches requiring payment whether or not there was a season.
2) All these clubs received huge government loans (forgiven) to pay the coaches, so they can pay back the parents.
3) Clubs are lying to the parents and basically saying “suck it”. You all need to get a lawyer parent and sue the hell out of the clubs.

Businnenes can get loans (extended until December 2021) but the amount you get as a self-proprietor or a company without employees is no more than a 5k loan.
Clubs don't need to lie, parents are smart and many of the families are business owners and are going through the same issues.
