Low ranked soccer schools get a lot of late refusals for better options which frees up their money.

QU finished in the top 100 last year overall and has a lot of internationals that will suck up a good deal of the scholarship $ they have.

QU announced it Dec 10th - that's in line with anyone who applied EA or ED.

QU ranked 153rd nationally US News. Solid school, not uber-selective. It's also not a great price value given what it costs and what you get for it.

Sometimes you need the athletic boost to distinguish yourself. Great for him that he was able to do that.

Or Greenwich. Both Greenwich and Fairfield have comparable population to W HTFD, but FFLD and W HTFD have 2 public high schools and Greenwich has one. None of these towns/schools have done particularly well in any sport. To constantly whine about "sharing" talent with other schools, public or private is pathetic. If you think W HTFD is losing talent to other schools, take a look at all those FFLD County public schools.

Greenwich has the private school problem and if you count prep FFLD has 3 HS

Do you realize how many are in and around Greenwich?

Or Danbury... very little athletic success and the largest high school population in Connecticut

Greenwich loses the most kids to Private schools (Brunswick, Exeter, Choate etc...) and is still one of the biggest HS in the state

only mentioned Prep because they get the bulk from FFld

Okay Skippy. It’s a one high school city.

Very different demographic base than some of the other towns discussed

Instead of looking at number of schools per city, look at number of premier kids on each team. Hall had how many? 14? The entire starting 11 was from premier clubs.
