“The AAC is weak”. The only D1 men’s conference with more teams in the Top 50 (RPI) than the AAC in the country is the ACC. The AAC and Big East are tied for 2nd in terms of # of teams in the Top 50. Both have more than the Big 10 or PAC 10.

Uconn will be just fine back in the Big East. They’ll battle for the league championship every year and will be back in the NCAA tourney in year one.

Therefore it’s a tough league dummy. How about focusing on the positive and that they’ve made it 60% of the time, or 6 times in the last 10 years. How many programs can make that claim? Here’s a fact for you...Only 27.
