FSA, Oakwood and CFC ALL have bills to pay. They are all business's in the end. Each has a facility that requires paying a mortgage and all that goes with having your own building and fields.

Why are you so shocked? FSA no different from the other 2 in respect to customer service. You will never keep everybody happy at any of those places. This is why so many players are jumping from club to club. There are players out there that have played for all 3.

Here is the big difference between them.

Oakwood is run and owned by soccer people, they are not business people
FSA is run and owned by a business guy, he is not a soccer person.
CFC is a run like a large Franchise with many branches, essentially run by soccer people.

CFC is kind of like the state university system - several branches that are ok, suit the needs of many students/players and more convenient locations Then the better students/players go to the main branch (Storrs/Bethany) for a better education/training - but still not a top nationally ranked program. Some exceptional students/players will do exceptionally well, others just fine.

Just a 1 problems with this....

          1. CFC doesn't share players. North Regional has been turning out better players/teams than CFC United at the youth ages.... Not many North players on CFCU teams.

Ha. North have very few good players. The 2008 team is the best they have had in awhile

CFCU doesn't have youth teams. U14 up is CFCU and while some North players go to United and a few North HS pkayesblabd low level college spots, the two can't be compared

                Very reasonable assessment

FSA is just rock solid. Mick has an accent, so you know the coaching is great. And, their hot dogs are the best in the state. While their parking isn't fantastic, you don't get your car all dinged up with rocks like you do at that other club. And, FSA has a team for your kid, even if your kid isn't athletic, pay the fee and play ECNL or whatever.
