Ciac should just play a limited schedule. Let glastonbury and Southington play the top 6 teams in the fciac and the Top 4 make the state tournament. Cancel everything except LL. Season would be real short and you would get the same result you do every year

You mean CIAC will, just like for everyone else in the state.

Ccc does get special treatment every year. Their teams get high seeds and first round byes for beating up on sub par competition. Even with that advantage the fciac still seems to get 6 of final 8 every year. So that is just reality, not special treatment. Including others in the tournament is about giving everyone a trophy. Every 20 or so years, you may get a Newtown, but Top Fciac and 1 or 2 ccc schools are the real contenders Every year

still doesn't mean one level gets special treatment over others

Top s schools couldn’t beat trumbull, who at best are 8th in fciac

Here we go again with the annual fciac is best diatribe!

I did a little checking on above mentioned fciac dominance in the girls LL state soccer tournament, last 5 years stats of fciac teams in Qfinals below.

                  19 - 5 teams
                  18 - 5 teams
                  17 - 4 teams
                  16 - 4 teams
                  15 - 4 teams

Results are certainly good, but not once to the level stated by poster.

No, I didn't check beyond the last 5 years, so I am confident you may able to finds years fciac did reach your mystical level of 6 teams in Q-finals

you do realize there are only 8 teams left at that point so 50% is an over representation

So on average, more than half. Then go back and look at how many times an fciac team eliminated a non fciac team too. There would have even been more than 60 percent in quarters.

Do the same for semi and final rds. You will find fciac more than 50 percent. No one else is even close to 50 percent or greater in every rd from quarters to finals.

FCIAC on FCIAC crime is what keeps the numbers that low- they knock each other off
for some of those teams its the 3rd time they will be playing each other
(ie RHS v Stjs last year 1-1-1 year recorl)

Typical fciac groupie, just ignore that original post stated fciac usually have 6 out of eight in q-finals, when that is not reality.

Once you complete your analysis of fciac dominance as outlined in your post above, we all look forward to you documenting it here. Dont forget to document fciac having 50% or more every round for quarters to finals, including last year.

Hilarious that you dads are arguing about end of season play when your kids won't get in more than 4 games this year.
