Even MLS will agree that they are not on par with the best leagues. They are working up to it though.

The premier league can afford the super stars. MLS needs to ensure stability first. We will take the best players just over their prime. Some will work out and some wont but people be happy either way.

However it is true that lots and lots of critics CANNOT play or play well and /or cant even run the field without stopping.

Maybe you can, its not hard to do, but you like all the other TS critics and bums calling out Pro players as being washed up couldn't play or make a Pro team even in your prime years of the middle twenties.

Just about every credible soccer organization or publication in the world puts the MLS within the Top 10 national leagues in the world.

So they don't have little booster armies in the other leagues that sing their little songs and chants through the game? You've never watched an BPL game? You've never seen the supporters end at Barcelona or Juventus. You've never experienced the Liverpool fans singing "You'll Never Walk Alone"?

So, they cut a log in Portland. How about those Boomer Sooners at Oklahoma and their wagon they like to pull around after they score? Or those many cannons that get fired off after Texas A&M scores? Or that Cheesehead guy that runs around the Packer games?
