SUSA's facility may be smaller, but it's weeds are taller.

The Barca facility (once complete) will have a natatorium as well. Perhaps Susa will have a few buckets with water to douse the kids after a nice summer heat practice.

With 5 months to go until the beginning of the spring season and considering where this thread is going regarding recent Barca photos/videos - Would it be a major disappointment if Barca's spring practice and game schedule are not played at King's Park?

Its 50/50 depending on where where you live. barca is currently pulling kids from all over LI, queens, brooklyn, some from NJ and CT. If kids/parents are happy they will stay... if not they will leave....nothing new.

I was referring to the actual timeline for a playing surface being built. Is 5 months ample time? I never considered that there might be people within the club that do not want Kings Park to happen. I guess you're right, players from points west are adding 30-45 minutes on their commute time during the midweek rush.

If its a really bad winter (frozen ground and tons of snow) it will be tough to open for 1st games of spring.

After grading and felt/underlayment- It takes app. 3-4 weeks to lay turf. That DEPENDS on variables including material availability, worker availability, weather, etc.

you would have to be smokin crack to drive to KP from anywhere in CT or NJ. That's over 2 hours each way easy. I mean I sorta get Tyler Adams driving 2 hours each way to play for a pro club (who definitely has some of the best youth training anywhere) but Barca? Haahaa.
