Most clubs post that info well before NLIs are signed in February. You're saying a club desperately trying to build it's business and emphasize college recruiting isn't going to publish that? Call us all skeptical.

Anyway it's on Top Drawer - granted a highly incomplete list but it shows 1 VT, 1 Adelphi, 2 Stony Brook. https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/sear...rtDirections=1

Guess the college coaches associated with the program are recruiting internally. Coaches from Adelphi, Stony Brook, Mercy and Farmingdale all have teams that they coach at Surf.

Look, if those schools/programs are the player's dream schools then that's great. But most will be wholly unimpressed with the program or academic level. Then if most are at schools with Surf coaches? That doesn't say anything about the club's ability to prepare players for college play.

I guess that would be one of the many benefits of playing and training with college coaches.

What college will your child be playing for?

I count 4 players playing for Surf coaches in college. Big advantage for them as the coach already knows a lot about the player as opposed to all the other freshman recruits. Unimpressed with the SBU program?????????? Really. Try getting into that school, then try getting money from that school. The coach has turned the soccer program around in 2 short years. I guess your athlete is a P5 or T25 player and a National team recruit. If that's the case, then yes, these programs pale in comparison, but for 97% of student athletes, playing in college is a dream come true.

Part of Surf's issue is they don't have the badges - DA and ECNL are the primary recruiting leagues now. NPL or other is a distant #3. The better soccer programs aren't shopping those leagues much any more. Soccer wise those programs aren't that great. If it's a good academic fit for players that's what matters in the end. Not many college players have four year careers.
