Nice and congrats. Under the academy system, such things won't be so rare in CT.

        Thanks Oakwood clown.

The rate of NT call ups from CT won't change at all. Do you think that because a group of kids from Glastonbury decided to skip the 2.5 month HS soccer season that it changes Connecticut's position in the National soccer landscape?

        Get a grip.

The good ones over there dont have to skip that season ... they get to do both! Shows the value of the training isn't great or that HS isn't a talent killer.

Eh. OW players go to better schools than the University of New Jersey.

Your recruiting history and recent commitment list says otherwise. CFC still has you beat and it's killing you.

Recent commitments are the first academy grads and a great sign of things to come. Certainly stronger results than New Jersey Community College.

Recent boys and girls signings from Oakwood are underwhelming. The boys in particular with all they have given up over the years isn't very good. D2 and D3 soccer doesn't require academy.

Your BDA track record for the last ten years says otherwise. This year your boys are going to

                      Springfield College
                      Macalaster
                      Wentworth IT

                      Endicott

OW still irked they got no top players from CFC to move over.

There are just many people here that are ready to pounce on Oakwood blowhards at a moments notice!

You are what your results says you are.

In all seriousness, Oakwood does fine. Men's soccer is a different animal entirely. Funding isn't great at most schools and the coaches recruit heavy internationally. There are a few D1s in there which is exactly what you'd expect from a small team in CT.

The girls had another down year in terms of signings. The gap between them and CFCU is as large as it's ever been and about to get worse for 2019 and 2020.
