President Trump Has Been Harder on Russia Than Any President Since Reagan Ended USSR

Here are a few things the Trump administration has done against Russia:

sold missile defense to Poland http://dailycaller.com/2017/07/06/tr...-versus-putin/

killed more than 200 Russian militants in Syria https://www.thedailybeast.com/report...n-syria-attack

    expelled 60 Russian officers https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/us-e...ry?id=54013784

sold lethal arms to Ukraine http://thehill.com/policy/internatio...les-to-ukraine

sanctioned more people under the Magnitsky Act https://www.weeklystandard.com/jenna...-magnitsky-act

Trump’s entire Iran policy. From pulling out of the nuclear deal to repelling Iranian gunboats to pushing Iran out of Syria, Trump has been resolute in pushing back against Iran. This is a HUGE blow to Russian foreign policy and Russia’s interest in and alliance with Iran.

Oil. Trump has been a strong proponent in expanding American oil drilling (including ANWR). This is financially devastating to Russian economic interests.

The Trump administration has been the single most anti-Russian administration since the fall of the Soviet Union and the rise of Putin. By far. It’s not even close. But because Trump is perpetually playing the carrot/stick game, where he sometimes condemns and sometimes compliments terrible people (all depending on what’s most advantageous for his negotiating tactic in the given moment), Democrats have crafted this bull**** narrative about Trump being too nice to Putin.

It all comes back to the fact that the left is shallow. Instead of looking at concrete actions and actual results, all they care about is aesthetics. If you’re eloquent and “presidential” like Obama, you’re great - even if you perpetually kowtow to Putin. But if you’re tough as nails and are results-oriented, it doesn’t matter because by saying some nice things about Putin and Kim Jong Un, that makes you an evil authoritarian, just like they are! That’s leftism for you. All about appearance; substance be damned.

I haven't laughed so hard since Trump claimed Germany was "totally controlled by Russia". Thanks for the chuckle.

Stop. It’s over. You are either a Russia bot or support the KGB. Trump sold
America to Putin. Putin wanted revenge, and although it took some time, he got it. He is essentially the President of the United States. Our American troops died fighting KGB tactics. Trump has failed our troops and all Americans. Sad. Biggly.

No kidding. Lmao. His devotees are frantically trying to change the narrative from today but there's no turning back. Even Fox is turning on him. The kindest comment was "it was a missed opportunity"

Does the Russian troll have a cover story for the Russian arrested today, trying to "work" with US gun activists and the NRA?

"According to court papers, Butina met with U.S. politicians and candidates, attended events sponsored by special interest groups — including two National Prayer Breakfast events — and organized Russian-American “friendship and dialogue” dinners in Washington with the goal of “reporting back to Moscow” what she had learned.

“According to the affidavit in support of the complaint, from as early as 2015 and continuing through at least February 2017, Butina worked at the direction of a high-level official in the Russian government who was previously a member of the legislature of the Russian Federation and later became a top official at the Russian Central Bank. This Russian official was sanctioned by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control in April 2018,” the Justice Department said in a statement.

The affidavit also stated she started reaching out to NRA members and other American gun enthusiasts in 2013, on several occasions hosting NRA executives and gun activists in Moscow, including one delegation that included former Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.

Engaging is very different than caving. Trump caved. Not only did he cave but he threw the Us intelligence community, the media, basically our nation, under the bus. He look like the complete azz that he is. GOP members and even Fox are going nuts.

"President Trump proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin. He and Putin seemed to be speaking from the same script as the president made a conscious choice to defend a tyrant against the fair questions of a free press, and to grant Putin an uncontested platform to spew propaganda and lies to the world."

McCain warned against the impulse to blame Trump's press conference on his inexperience on the world stage, pointing to his tweets as those of "a novice politician."

Instead, McCain said that Trump's comments were "deliberate choices" designed to "realize his delusions of a warm relationship with Putin’s regime without any regard for the true nature of his rule, his violent disregard for the sovereignty of his neighbors, his complicity in the slaughter of the Syrian people, his violation of international treaties, and his assault on democratic institutions throughout the world."

“No prior president has ever abased himself more abjectly before a tyrant,"
