I read that simply as another layer of competitive games on top of current league play. So, yes the top teams in the region will have more games against other top teams. This is in addition to the games in the showcase.

This is old mews , where have you clowns been all day? Plus Weston didn’t lose it, don’t know about wff but they have plenty of pre teams so don’t see why they would lose it

It is a little surprising since the 05 and 06 teams are both performing well and the 02s are competitive in most games. 2 years wasn’t enough time to recover from the yoyo ECNL debacle wher he single handily destroyed 4 age groups.

All evidence points to the contrary.

Yes it's just another chance to win a trophy. It isn't at all a two tier system.

It’s truly just a way to keep the top clubs happy.

Is it? They still have to play weak teams in the regular season and now have additional games - with more travel and costs - to play. I thought it was all about the training? Now teams are going to chase a cup title?

Sorry bitter SFFA, Sunrise, WFF, WPU, Sunrise and Miramar parents. I know misery loves company but just because you say something (no matter how much you really, really, weally, weally want to believe it) doesn't make it true.

Weston is not on the chopping block this year. Inter Miami and Weston will be the two Academies operating in S. Florida.
